7. There was discussion of the meeting of the previous Monday, Nov.6, with Miss McBride and Miss Howe. The Activities Board had felt a desire for expansion of student waitressing, and urged that the issue not be dropped. The dis- cussion mainly was concerned with possible action by the Board. Some felt that we have done all that we can with the information, and should now drop the issue in order that we should avoid making it a civil rights issue or a question of patronizing. Most members felt that we should make evident our continued interest in the subject, and make it quite clear that the Administration should continue its studies of operational costs, in preparation for an enlarged program of student work.
